My obsession with film began when I held my first job as Film Supervisor in NZ's Public Service. With nothing to do, I would project 16mm classics like Citizen Cane, Un Chien De Undalu, Metropolis, Rosemary's Baby, Kitchen Sink... in my own theatrette until the need to learn grew too strong. So I then successfully entered and graduated from NYU's Directors Programme.

Since then I've been lucky to provide image spots for the likes of Nike, secured funding, screened at Intl. Film Festivals, and though accolades have never been my main focus, have received numerous creative awards for broadcast content on numerous television networks.
