July 26-28 2019 @ Albert Park
BOXED is playing with a dystopian NZ seen from the retro-future.
For engagement, future children watch what nature was like through the ages.
A column of CRT screens shows Aoteroa from day one in all its beauty. Over time, our images of Aotearoa deteriorate while our plastic child watches on.
Any images like those below (I do not have copyright for them) that are at least 1mB in size for stills/photos, and
greater than 720p for video.
anything not mentioned that may be of use (images of possums, early NZ Tourism marketing images, pollution, pipes, suds) etc etc
Tūrama, Auckland’s new light festival, is set to enchant Aucklanders with impressive art installations that will transform inner-city Albert Park into an illuminated wonderland for three nights.
Tūrama, to illuminate, is a free event to attend.
Albert Park will become a playground for the curious, with stunning stories told through projection, interactive sculptures, and performances that turn light and movement into art. The festival will include some of Aotearoa's best visual artists and performers, alongside a variety of delicious, healthy kai options. A host of Auckland’s local musicians will add their tunes to the free entertainment, and the licensed bar will serve a range of beverages.
